The set starts with a 2-liter pot and straining lid. Made of high-quality aluminum, Bugaboo pots and pans are light enough for backpacking, yet heat evenly enough to satisfy the most demanding camp cook. Plus, each piece is fully formed and then coated with two layers of durable nonstick coating for added scratch-resistance. The straining lid is made of BPA-free resin, and ensures that you won't need to bring along a separate strainer when making pasta or steaming vegetables.
The kit also includes several color-coded tableware settings: two 14-ounce bowls, two 14-ounce insulated mugs, and two Sip-It lids. The tableware is made of GSI Outdoors' lightweight, flexible Cascadian material, a chemically inert, BPA-free polypropylene design that remains resilient when exposed to both hot and cold temperatures. Moreover, Cascadian pieces won't absorb food odors like other plastics and are completely recyclable at the end of their service life.
Finally, the kit offers an exclusive folding gripper handle that attaches securely to the pot's exterior brackets. The brackets preserve both the interior and exterior pot finishes while still letting you detach the handle for easy storage. And when you're ready to pack up, the pieces nest together and fit inside the 2-liter pot. Just put the pot inside the stuff sack and you're read to go.

GSI opened its doors in 1985, after a small group of British Columbian siblings made their way down the West Coast to San Diego.
